Binding DelTang Receivers and Transmitter Throttles

In order to be able to control your locomotive once the receiver is installed, you’ll need to set up the communication between the transmitter throttle and the receiver. This process, known as binding, is easy and quick.

To bind a DelTang “-1”  or “-2” receiver to a Tx21 or Tx20 transmitter throttle:

  1. Turn on the receiver. After about 20 seconds, the LED on the receiver will flash rapidly.
  2. While holding down the bind/function button, turn on the transmitter throttle.
  3. Release the bind button. The power indicator on the transmitter throttle will flash for a few seconds, and then remain on. The LED on the receiver will stop flashing and then remain on.
  4. Congratulations! Binding is complete.

To bind a DelTang “-12” or “-22” receiver to a Tx22 transmitter throttle requires one extra step:

  1. On the transmitter, select the desired “Selecta” channel.
  2. Turn on the receiver. After about 20 seconds, the LED on the receiver will flash rapidly.
  3. While holding down the bind/function button, turn on the transmitter throttle.
  4. Release the bind button. The power indicator on the transmitter throttle will flash for a few seconds, and then remain on. The LED on the receiver will stop flashing and then remain on.
  5. Congratulations! Binding is complete.
